The Percentage Split for VIP sellers are as follows:
The Concierge Tagger is the person who will be picking up, tagging, prepping, and dropping off your items. The VIP Seller is you. TTT sale is the organization hosting the event and providing the platform for items to be sold.
Concierge VIP Tagger: 35%
VIP Seller: 35%
TTT Sale: 30%
Every Seller (Regular sellers and VIP Sellers alike) all have a seller participation fee of $25 that gets deducted AFTER the percentage split is calculated. This fee goes to TTT Sale. It is not pre-paid. Instead, we include the convenience of deducting it out of your final check.
VIP sellers will have an additional supply fee that is deducted from their final check AFTER the percentage split is calculated, to help their Concierge Tagger offset supply costs with preparing your items. This fee will go to your Concierge Tagger and helps reimburse them for purchasing hangers, cardstock paper, safety pins, baggies, tape, ink etc. Keep in mind this doesn't necessarily cover all their costs (or gas), but contributes toward that expense. TTT uses a tiered system to estimate supply expenses based on the number of items you have to submit into the sale.
200-300 Items: $30
301-400 Items: $40
401-500 Items: $50
501-600 Items: $60
Over 600 items: Additional $10 per one hundred items
You will be able to log in to your consignor account to view items that have been tagged by your Concierge tagger, and watch your sales through the event days. Do not change any tag or account information in the system, as your VIP seller will be managing your account for you.
Discount Option:
VIP Seller agrees that if they allow their Concierge Tagger to mark their items for discount eligibility, items with a STAR symbol that visibly appears above the price will be discounted by 50 percent on the last days of the event during DISCOUNT DAYS. The discount feature is completely optional and left to the discretion of the Seller. It is meant to create another wave of customers looking for bargains, and give your item a last boost to sell.
Donate Option:
VIP Seller agrees that if they allow their Concierge Tagger to mark their items with a "D" in the bottom left corner of the tag, it will be FIRSTLY eligible for DOUBLE DOLLAR DASH, and secondly donated if unsold. Donate items will not be available for pick-up. Double Dollar Dash is held at the very end of the sale, concluding our event. These items will go for sale for $2 (or less if marked at discount and if discounted price equals less than $2). TTT donates to a charity called "GOD's CLOSET" based out of Madison GA. You can find their link on our website.
VIP Seller understands it is against the law to sell recalled items. Seller agrees that all items being submitted by them into the TTT consignment sale have been accurately checked and verified for recalls using the lists provided by the Consumer Product and Safety Commission (CPSC) or by contacting the item’s manufacturer directly before submitting items to your Concierge Tagger.
VIP Seller agrees that no claims will be made against Tykes, Tots & Teens LLC for any discrepancies involving items placed in the sale. With tens of thousands of items being handled in a short amount of time, and being operated by a temporary staff, sellers should not expect 100% accuracy on pick up day. While 98% of participants don't express any issues of loss, it does happen. Sellers should weigh that minimal risk to the benefits of selling other items. Consider the massive resource of customers, advertising, reputation, higher success rate and dollar amount than that of a yard sale or standalone consignment shop.
VIP Seller understands that their CONCIERGE TAGGER has experience and training on proper tag descriptions. VIP Seller agrees that any item found WITHOUT a tag, or with an illegible tag will be held in a lost and found area so that TTT may attempt to locate the tag or search for description information in the computer system. If the consignor's tag is reunited to the item, TTT will put the item back on the floor for resale. If no information can be found for the item, or if descriptions found match too many other similar items, it will be put in an unclaimed area for consignors to rightfully and honestly claim during pick up. A claim form is mandatory for tagless items claimed during pick up.
VIP Seller agrees to hold harmless and make no claim against TTT its owners, the lessors of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in TTT, their Concierge Tagger, or the insurer of TTT for the damage, theft or loss of any items consigned at TTT. Concierge taggers will use all of their training and experience to make your items as secure as they can.
On occasion volunteers have missorted items from similar consignor numbers (ex: an item with consignor number 100 may be later found in #110's pile) Sorting tens of thousands of unsold items BACK to consignor number for pick up day is a tedious task completed by many hands and eyes. TTT takes pre-cautions to ensure accuracy. Time permitting, a double check sort is completed and records are kept of who double checks items. Workers are observed and evaluated for capability of sorting/reading numbers, and are prohibited from these tasks if found incapable of doing so. Workers who collect items to deliver to consignors on pick up day must sign off on their station to ensure accountability for all items being collected and returned. If you find an item in your pick up pile, please notify TTT so that we can contact the correct consignor and let them know their item has been found. TTT will advise sellers to return any found items in the next season. Those items returned will be sorted back to the original sellers pile on pick up day. If the original seller does not participate that season, the item will be donated if unclaimed by original seller on pick up day. TTT offers this notice as a courtesy, but will not be involved in transporting the item after pick up day has been completed. TTT will do a double check of all remaining items at end of pick up day. If a seller's items are found, who has already picked up, we will either have a representative deliver them to the seller, ship them, or return them the next season, depending on the size and amount of inventory to be returned.
You are agreeing that you have verified that is has never been in an automobile accident, has never been broken in any way, has all its parts, contains the identification label and is not expired. You also verify that it has not been recalled, has all the harness straps, harness clip, seat cover, padding, shield and bolts, and that the locking mechanism locks securely.
VIP Sellers that have not participated for 4 consecutive seasons will have their number recycled for that location.
VIP Seller agrees to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting from participation in TTT from whatever cause either foreseen or unforeseen against TTT, its owners, the lessors of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in TTT, their Concierge Tagger, or the insurer of TTT.
Your Concierge Tagger has many years or seasons of experience selling with TTT, and is trained and trusted amongst our organization. Concierge taggers will be pricing your items with the best intentions for a reasonable and fair selling price to their discretion. Our goal together is to create high sell rates for our sellers, while staying within reasonable price brackets for our shoppers. Your Concierge Tagger will price based on their experience for each type of item, while taking into account it's condition, if the size or type is a popular (or unpopular) item, if it is more rare than other items, etc.
VIP Sellers should place their items in boxes or bags for pick up with the Concierge Tagger. Plastic totes will not be sent back to the VIP Seller. Please mark your boxes and bags with your full name. Large items that do not fit in a box or bag; place a piece of tape on them with your full name on it so our Concierge tagger can identify all of your items as they prepare and tag for you.
Your concierge tagger will pre-inspect your items quickly on site, and more thoroughly once in the preparing phase when they can take everything out one by one. TTT wants all of our VIP sellers to feel confident with their concierge tagger and transparency is very important to us. Concierge taggers will let you know about items not accepted. Every seller goes thru an inspection process and it is very normal to have a handful of items (sometimes more) not accepted. Our Concierge tagger will contact you and let you know what items were not accepted and the reasons why.
VIP Sellers will have a specific number registered to their account so that TTT can easily identify and accurately cut VIP seller checks. If you have a pre-existing seller number, that number will not be used while you participate as a VIP seller. In future sales, any items tagged with a VIP seller number will either need to be re-submitted through your Concierge tagger or re-tagged with your own unique general seller number. VIP seller numbers will always be reserved for VIP sellers and their coordinating percentages.
VIP Seller will have the option to choose if items will be picked up by them on pick up day, or if they have opted for their Concierge Tagger to transfer them to the next sale (only if applicable for same season).
ITEMS NOT PICKED UP by the end of the designated pick-up day will not be available for a later pick up. TTT has a contractual obligation to leave the facility building and cannot extend pick up, nor arrange to transport items for you. See site for current season's pick up day and times. Pick up Day is a designated day and time listed online. Early pick ups will need to be pre-arranged, pre-approved, and will be charged a $15 early pick up fee, as this does pull our staff away from their sort duties during designated sort times. Please note that early pick ups may not be complete, as the sort process happens through late night/early morning hours up until scheduled pick up times start. This means you may not receive your complete pile for early pick ups. Digital pick up passes will be emailed. Bring a paper copy to scan at pick up or show us your pass on your phone. ID's are no longer required unless you do not receive your pass. Sellers can send their pass to any alternate pick up person.
TTT has most checks ready for sellers on pick up day. VIP Seller Checks do take longer to process, so expect those checks to be ready after 6pm on pick up day. Sellers who choose not to pick up their check, will have their check mailed. Accounts with questions, or actions needed, will have their checks mailed once all issues have been resolved. Addresses on file when registering are used for mailing purposes, contact us before pick up day if your address has changed. Seller agrees to cash issued proceed checks within 45 days of the date of the check. Checks will be void after this time. TTT is not responsible for lost checks in the mail, and sellers assume this risk if they choose not to pick their check up. In the circumstance that a check needs to be re-issued due to loss, theft, not arriving in the mail, expiration passing, etc, TTT will charge a $50 Check Cancellation and Re-issue Fee to re-issue lost, misplaced, not received checks, or checks not cashed by their 45 day expiration period. Checks not cashed within the 45 day expiration period are subject to re-issue the following sale season. PLEASE CASH YOUR CHECKS ON TIME!
Pre-sale passes are issued digitally upon check in during drop off. Your concierge tagger will email you your set of pre-sale passes once they drop off your items at the event. Be on the look out for an email coming from "Event Smart". Gmail users, be sure to check your promotions folder for it to arrive there.
TTT, and/or your Concierge Tagger reserves the right to refuse any item. TTT also reserves the right to pull any item off the sales floor that does not meet their guidelines or requirements.
I am the owner of the items to be sold, and I have full authority to sell the items offered by me for sale. Each item offered for sale by me...
- is in good operating condition, reasonable wear and tear expected, and not defective, broken, or damaged in any way.
- Complies with applicable law
- is not subject of any pending or threatened recall notice or other consumer protection enforcement action.
I know of no reason why any item offered for sale by me would cause any injury to another. By typing my signature/name on the VIP seller Waiver form, I agree to the VIP Seller Waiver.
